SCCA racing action Feb 20-22nd

Get ready for SCCA racing action this weekend, Feb 20-22nd.

The 2nd round of the 2026 Hoosier Super Tour returns to Buttonwillow California. HP has three entries so far with Brian Linn in the #42 Carr Chassis MINI. Brian took away to wins in the January races. Lee Fleming and Bill Okell are set to join him in MG Midgets. Coverage from Buttonwillow begins with qualifying on Saturday, through SCCA’s YouTube page.

In Texas, Eagle Canyon Raceway is putting on their first SCCA majors event. Jesse Prather is currently the only entry. Looking to debut new aero, the mid states SCCA crowd will be looking to see how lap times improve for the #34. Hoping for big smiles from the Mazda crew and the big blue Mazda2.

The SARRC Invintational returns to Roebling Road for the 2026 season. The 2025 SIC event winner Russ McBride in his Fiat X1/9 hopes to keep the momentum going from a strong 2025. Four competitors have signed up to challenge the X1/9 and make their run at a 2026 SARRC points championship: Russ Myers in his #96 Ford Fiesta, Kerry Foote his Bugeye Sprite, Mike Havlick in his #98 MG Midget, and David Kinsey #119 CRX.

Jesse Prather’s Mazda 2 will debut his new front bodywork at Eagle Canyon Raceway.

Russ McBride in his Fiat X1/9 will be at Roebling Road.

Brian Linn’s H Prod MINI Cooper will be at Buttonwillow.

Lee Fleming will join Linn at Buttonwillow with his MG Midget.
